Question 4 | Duvet inserts, duvet covers, just duvets, comforters - difference ?

Sometimes bedding terminology can be a bit confusing.
What is a Duvet Insert?
A duvet insert is meant to be inserted into the duvet cover. It is not intended to be used without a case. Ours duvet inserts are filled with polyester fibers and covered in cotton.
Polyester fibers keep you warm during the colder months. It’s very breathable and helps regulate temperature.
Most duvet inserts are a white color, because they are typically used with a more colorful duvet cover.
What is a Duvet Cover?
The Duvet Cover is a shell of your duvet insert. It is also adds colors and patterns to your bedding. A duvet cover is typically made to protect your duvet insert. You can simply throw the cover in the wash instead of worrying about washing an entire duvet.
What is a Comforter?
The comforter is duvet cover with filling putted into the cover and sewn together. The most important difference with the duvet cover is that the comforter cannot be separated from the “shell”, so you can use it only during the cold months.
How do I use a Duvet Cover and Duvet Insert?
You can use your duvet cover with or without the duvet insert depends of a season. So you can use your bedding set all year round, which is not possible for the comforter because it is not suitable for the summer season.
Why should I buy a Duvet Insert?
To keep you cozy at night! A duvet insert is plush, soft, and luxurious.
Is a Duvet and a Comforter the same thing?
Yes and no. A comforter is typically one unit, not separate like a duvet, which includes a duvet insert and a duvet cover. However, they both have the same overall function which is to cover you and keep you warm while you sleep.

Wall Murals

Question 1 | How to Measure my Wall ?

To ensure a perfect fit for your wallpaper, measure the full width and height of your wall. Since we produce your wallpaper to the exact dimensions you provide, we recommend adding 5 cm (2 inches) to both width and height for a safety margin. Below are guidelines for different wall types:

  • Standard Walls: Measure the full width and height. Double-check your measurements and add 5 cm (2 inches) to both dimensions.
  • Sloped Walls: Measure at the widest and highest points, ignoring slopes. The mural is printed as a full rectangle or square, and sloped areas are trimmed during installation. Add 5 cm (2 inches) to width and height.
  • Multi-Sloped Walls: Measure the longest width and height of the wall. The mural is printed as a full shape, and sloped areas are cut away. Add 5 cm (2 inches) to both dimensions.
  • Walls with Doors/Windows: Measure the full width and height of the wall, as any obstacles are cut out during installation. Add 5 cm (2 inches) to both dimensions.
  • Multiple Walls: Measure each wall’s width, add them together, and include 5 cm (2 inches) per wall as a safety margin. Measure the height from the tallest point and add 5 cm (2 inches). Order as one single piece.
  • Staircases: Identify the highest and lowest points of the wall for height measurements, and the widest point for width. Sloped areas are removed during installation. Add 5 cm (2 inches) to both measurements.

Following these steps will help ensure a smooth and accurate wallpaper application!

Selecting the best wallpaper for your space depends on your wall’s surface:

Question 4 | Getting Your Wall Ready for Wallpaper Installation

  1. Ensure a Smooth Surface – Remove any old wallpaper, loose paint, or uneven patches. Since wallpapers have slight transparency, your wall should be a single, uniform color for the best results.

  3. Check Your Wallpaper – Open the protective tube and verify that the wallpaper matches your order and completely covers the intended area.
  4. Locate Serial Numbers – In the upper right corner of each roll, you’ll find a serial number (except for designs with repeating patterns).

    • Installation instructions
    • A layout diagram of your design
    • Test strips to check adhesion
    • A smoothing tool for air removal
    • An informational brochure
  6. Double-Check EverythingMeasure your wall twice, carefully read the instructions, and make sure you're fully prepared before starting the installation.
